cute. almost tempting to hack this up ...

how did this work? the DIN was on the side, and was not easy to get a
plug into, even manually.

i suppose a similar thing would work for the 2k series, but when i
played around with it, i never found a happy way to get the door over
the interconnect socket to open reliably. it was a bit sad to make
you do that before docking ...

anyone got one of those phones? i'm intrigued now ;-)
