Alex,
If I remember correctly, there was a package written to test certain
functions of the Newton. I can't remember the exact details, but it was
designed specifically for this use - the testing of second hand Newtons.
However, rather un-usefully, I can't remember the package name but hopefully
this mail might jog peoples memories.
Any ideas anyone?
