A bisc network connection can be established on Einstein for OS X. I did not have the time or machines to make that work on Linux or MSWindows. iOS should be easy to convince since it has a Unix framework just like OS X. I am currently debugging the Android implementation.

So, anything that can be transferred over LAN/WLAN should eventually work with Einstein.

As for the serial port emulation, I have spent many weeks on it, but could not get it to run reliably. Maybe another attempt will reveal the evil bug ;-) . Einstein would then generate a virtual COM port that can be used like any other COM port on that host.
