Hello T-na,
as was already stated, the export functionality of NCX works
brilliantly, and since you are using a OS2.1, the export of Newton
Works files is also working just fine. No hassle with some Claris
export converters as was needed in Classic MacOS; this NCX is truly
amazing. Apart from the syncing bit, the exports of Names and Dates
also works, as does the backup and restore functionality. So if only
syncing and IR support would work (since I am using a Lombard,
obviously with IR), NCX would even be better than the original
classic version.
So I can only agree, with OS X and Newt, this is the way to go forward.
Regards,

  Stefan
