You could use NewtTest (available from the site in the signature). When
you select the clock subtest, NewtTest checks if the current date is
earlier than the date the NewtTest version was released. If it is,
the clock subtest is initialized to NewtTest's release date, currently
something around 2005 I think. You can change the year and the month
separately, which will get you to the current date quite easily.
