Do these cards have to have a battery to work? If they work w/out a
battery while in the Newt, do they lose their data once you remove
them from the Newt (because of no power)?
I have 2 old cards like that (2 MB, I think) that I used to use with
a Sharp PC-3100 (slow, and only bare-bone DOS 3.3, but a great
keyboard, and lasted quite a while on AAs).
