[NTLK] Problems with pen alignment

Greeting Newtonians...
 
I am having problems - for the 1st time ever! - with a Newton. My 2100 seems
to be having problems with its pen alignment.
 
Everything was fine until a week ago, when I installed a program called
"FlashClock" that popped up a clock everytime I signed on. It installed the
package and a preference package.
 
Everytime I used the Newton from then on, the tracking is off so much that I
have trouble writing and using my keyboard. Simple words written seem like
zig-zag lines.
 
I have to redo the alignment in the pen alignment setup, and everything is
fine again ... until the next time I have to use my Newton!
 
After I experienced the problems with tracking, I decided to erase the app
and the prefs package - but I am still experiencing problems.
 
Any ideas?
