[NTLK] Print Drivers

Okay, I've spent half an hour in Wikiwikiwkiwkiwkiwki... searching for
fundamentals on Newton 2100 printer driver packages. I have searched in
Wiki using "print" and "driver" and "drivers" and "print and driver" and
"print and drivers" and getting some hits but no embedded wisdom so I
thought I'd ask for help here.

General question: Is there a generic printer driver that's part of the
Newton Operating System and/or are their other drivers I might need if
I'm not getting printed or faxed on the page what I expect?

I see in my "extras" drawer something called _GDTprintdriver_ but don't
know for sure if this is part of the NOS or something that got installed
along with a new application package?

Specifics: I'm noticing that I can always print fine using the Newton
PrintPack (din/centronix) dongle to my HP LaserJet, but I find on a
StyleWriter II (which has a totally clear paper-path as far as I can
tell because the paper ejects just fine) printer I just acquired that
even after selecting the StyleWriter II Pinter when I go to print that I
always get what I believe to be a _false_ an error message that says
"printer jammed". The reason I say "false" is that the printer draws in
the paper about 2" fine, then the error "printer jammed" pops up and
when I tap on the "x" to continue the paper continues on through
smoothly and ejects. But nothings getting printed.

Also, I'm noticing that when I fax a "letter" of text, including my
signature, _all_ of which could more than easily fit on a U.S. Letter
page physically, that my signature ends up at the top of a new 2nd page
even when there was more than enough room at the bottom of the first
page for my signature to fit.

That's all I know.

John
