have quite a lot of really, really, nice plum wood lying around. So, I

few of the old palm stylii I have lying about for tips. I don't,
however, have the dimensions. If anyone could send me the dimensions
(relatively accurately) of a 2K stylus, or, even better, a decent scan
of one at a known resolution, that would be great. On top of that, if
anyone's interested, I could probably make quite a few for a reasonable

I'm also a woodworker. I used a Palm stylus tip "heat set" into an aluminum
rod with my 2100 for a year before getting a real, altho' plastic stylus.
The Palm tips don't seem to do as well on screen accuracy as the genuine
Apple tip, perhaps because the Palm unit is a bit pointier...
I can send a scan of the original eMate stylus, which fits neatly into the
MP2X00 silo. Mail me off list if you'd like it.
I have some nice amaranth which would make distinctive, relatively heavy
styli. It's worth a try!
