Okay - as the signal out of the interconnect port is MONO, and the
speaker is MONO - can they be driven independently?

If so - I could see jerry-rigging a system, whereby the speaker drives
let channel output to the headphone jack, and the lineout drives right
channel output to the headphone jack (with proper line level to
headphone level attenuation).

Thoughts from the programmers and hardware gurus?
