Well I gave it a try. I turned on 128 bit WEP on my router and had problems
getting my PeeCee to connect. After mucking around with the WEP keys (I
initially went for the 4th option as it was easier to type, but backed down
to the first optional key) away it went. I then transferred my card over to
my Newt, turned on WEP, entered the key and it connected first try. Much
better results than the Dell.

So, yes 128 bit WEP does work on an unregistered copy of Hiroshi's drivers.
