Using AppleTalk to connect to NCU running in Classic under OS X works perfectly for me (Apple Cube, Airport Card, Airport BaseStation). I've got the latest WaveLan Driver from Hiroshi (Lucent WaveLan Silver with Driver Version 1.04).
