[NTLK] Newtsync difficulties...

Howdy all,

I decided tonight to try again to get NewtSync up and
running on by iBook (10.2.1). But again, as the
previous time, when I try to connect via TCP/IP, te
Mac does not give me an IP address, but rather just
says "listening on localhost."

Here are my settings: Mac side:
Firewall off, Appletalk on (for what it is worth),
Built-in-Ethernet TCP/IP set to DHCP server. NewtSync
3c

Newton: 3Com Ethernet card (I can connect with this
setup via Appletalk in Classic, so I know the card and
cables are good) Newton Devices, 3 com drivers, etc,
etc. on Newton 2k. NewtSync 3c.

I've tried restarting the computer and resetting the
Newton (John Anderson's advice to John Skinner on
December 10, same problem I'm having) to no avail.
I've searched through the archives, but it seems that
Mr. Skinner is the only other person who has
encouontered this.

Any other thoughts as to what I can try? Thanks in
advance, and John, thanks so much for making such a
great app. I've asked for cash for Christmas so Ic an
register my copy. :)
