Depends on your Newton. If it's a NOS 2.1-based Newton, then there is hope!

I've never seen a USB ADSL modem, so I don't know what ports it has. If it
has only one USB connection, and if that connection goes to the computer,
then you would have to turn that computer into a router/gateway in order to
use the Newton. And this is already out of my knowledge, but I'm sure some
people here could pick it up from here...
