Heapsaver frees up a little bit of heap per package but it is doing
something different than freezing to achieve this. There's also a free
util that does the same thing called "HeapMagic". Freezing a package will
release a lot more heap than you get by just installing Heapsaver or
Heapmagic. For freezing you need something like Options from www.sbm.nu or
Freezeman (from Standalone). You likely will want to keep HeapMagic and
Options installed simultaneously. (But really, unless you have a huge
number of apps on cards, there isn't as much need for freezing with the
2100. I freeze some books and things I don't use much just on principle
but it isn't really neccessary for most of my activities).
