Well, trawling, in my mind, conjures up images of large boats, with nets.
Trolling is what you do when fishing for bass in a lake. You usually do this
with a small electric motor, especially made for trolling, but yes, the
imagery is that of trolling with bait to catch a fish. He caught a big one,
when he used the Newton for bait. :-)
