How is your PowerBook hooked up to the T1? Ethernet? If so, and your
Newton is a 2000, 2100, eMate you can get an Ethernet card for it (a
variety of them work, and drivers are available on Victor Rehorst's
NewtonCage site). I do that with my Newton 2100 to connect to the
Internet throuch my high-speed USWest (excuse me, Qwest) Internet
connection.

Newt's Cape should let you do that. Or NetHopper with the software
(whose name I forget at the moment) lets you schedule batch connections
and downloads of web sites.
