I got 'Tiny' back!!!
(I call him 'Tiny' 'cos he's my-Newt)
It took under 2 weeks and I got the old screen back.
I tried to appeal to the pioneering spirit of the Technician
who worked on my machine by putting a note inside the case
requesting schematics.
I didn't hold out much hope of a result and so I was not unduly
disappointed when they denied my request.
At least they acknowledged it on the proof of repair.
I am still working on the backlight and it is progressing nicely.
I will keep you all posted.
