I've got to agree with that. I've disassembled and reassembled my spare
machine and had problems with the screen afterward. When I did the same
with my primary machine to do the Pix upgrade I didn't have any problems.
The case is a tight fitting, precision piece of work. It is also shielded
with a metallic coating on the inside, though this may only matter to the
FCC. The screws are small with fine threads requiring the right hardness of
material to hold properly. It's going to be very difficult to reproduce it
as a do-it-yourselfer.

1) I can't believe how many people want to part with their hard-earned cash

2) If the jaggies problem comes from a misalignment of the case to screen -

the resulting irregular pressure that stems from that (is this right?) then
would
you trust a backyard moulded case?
