RE: NTLK Jaggies, again

I can completely fix the problem by pressing my finger on the screen in the
lower right corner. All jaggies instantly disappear and things work
perfectly. The problem is much more severe on the right side of the screen
anyway, and a card run along that side goes in a lot farther than one run
along the left side. But I can fix things with that simple trick: just press
that finger on the screen while I write.

Except, of course, it's a bit tricky writing with my finger pressed against
the screen in the lower right corner all the time.

I've done the card under the edge, I've rebooted, it still happens. What
isn't properly connecting to what here? Is it possible that having the
shield in for months and now now using it any more created the problem?
Could that have messed up the proper connection between layers of the
screen? Does it have something to do with the fact that the left side is
obviously more tightly pressed together, since I can't insert that card
nearly as far?
