It will never be bought, people tried at the time and Apple asked impossible
amounts of money making clear that they didn't really want to sell (since
they didn't want to license either)

All over the place.
The most bitter thing is that slowly some things will creep up on WinCE
machines, but who knows, maybe MS will get it (sort of) right in it's fourth
incarnation.
