The Palm PQA uses a wireless link the the Internet to do the lookup.
Kinda useless without something similar for your Newton unless you update
the database daily somehow.

While someone could write sch a program for the Newton, you certainly
can't use or "convert" a PQA use on a Newton thru Palm Desktop or any
other means. You're talking total rewrite here.

But once you get your Internet connection going, see if the Starbucks web
site doesn't have the same service. Now all you'd need is some sort of
wireless link the the net (such as Richochet/Metricom) and you'd be all
set. In fact, you'd be way ahead of the game (on everything except
size.)
