This has been an ongoing issue on the list. I don't think there's any way to
avoid the large digests. My only solution would be to switch to the regular
mailing (where you get individual mails). This has the side benefit of being
able to reply to messages without ending up with a generic Subject line like
"RE: newtontalk V1 #260"
I'll probably catch some flak for even posting this to the list, but...oh
