Of course the bigger the better, but you'll have to consider the following:
1. The 2000 may have insufficient heap if you intend to store lots of programs (unfrozen) in the 32 MB card. If it's mainly data eg Notes, Names and Dates, you'll be fine.
2. Cards above 16 MB sometimes have backup issues on desktop. Are you on PC or Mac?
3. How do you intend to use your MP2K? It may be wiser to spend the money on the RAM upgrade.
