It is a documented feature to allow users to bypass the Card pkg activating procedure and go straight to the Card formatting slip.

If I insert a flash card into my Mac card slot and if it is recognised, it will allow me to erase card or if it is not mounted, will allow me the option to format it. Can you do this with Win 98?
