Well, I suppose this is a moot point, but I am certain I have reseted with
my cards inserted, and have not noticed any problems so far. Are problems
going to pop up?

Thanks!

Gary was talking about a Hard Reset, or what is also known here as a Brain Wipe. The reason it could damage a Card is because this procedure also zap the Card slots, a procedure that sometimes cure Card and Modem access problems.

However, the highest risk is to 5v/5v Cards. Pretec warned about this. I've also hard reset with my 24 MB (5v/12v) Card inserted without problems but you'll never get me to try it on my 32 MB (5v/5v) Card.
