[NTLK] Is NewtonSales a good choice?

It's rude to shout.
I did not miss Luke's point, if you reread my post I (purposefully) made no mention of that vendor and in no way
addressed Luke's experience with them*.
Luke said he was keeping his UMP2000 so
I was simply reassuring him that it is a
fine Newton and I mentioned the deals
you can get on UMPs more for the OP's
benefit since price was a concern he
mentioned.

*I personally have not dealt with that
vendor so I can't comment on them
either way.

THE POINT IS: he bought something from NewtonSales--and got something else, NOT what he ordered, although it might be "similar."

Do a search through the NewtonTalk archives on the topic of NewtonSales...and PLEASE, THEN--take a seat and read.

Many here are too polite to chime in. I have no direct dealings with NewtonSales...but as a follower of NTLK since at least 2010, I can offer this advice in dealing with them based on what I have read here and echoed by another user in a similar email:

Run as far and as fast as you can, away from them...and when you think you have run far enough away....

RUN SOME MORE!
