[NTLK] Memory card woes

I've successfully used the Memory Manager package when the grip of death
presents itself. Usually it's an errant bit of data on a program that I'm
not even using actively that the Newt thinks it will need to save
specifically to the card. The memory manger for 1.x can be downloaded here:

<http://www.unna.org/view.php?/utilites/NewtonUtilites1.x>I generally run it
prior to ejecting a card. It's also fun to see that it cleaned up 23 bytes!
Wow!

I've also beaten this with the use of NewtCase, whose control over packages
seems to have helped a bit. Find it here:

In my experience it's also the software your using. I had a spreadsheet app
that caused this often and the Digital Gourmet app often caused it to
happen. Both programs run with a tremendous amount of flotsam. I think this
was also partly the cards fault, as my smaller sized card (2 Megs) has never
done it, while the 24 meg was notorious for it.

I would never eject any cards, but Columbo's Mystery Capers ends up in there
quite a bit. =)
