The developer wrote a pretty good NCU clone called Newton Connection Tools.  It
supports Win 2k, XP and Vista.  If it works on Vista does that mean it works on
Win 7 as well?

Earlier this year he made it donationware.  You purchase it but the money goes
to UNNA hosting costs.
