When I have a webpage open in Newtscape I tap the "file" button and
see at the bottom of the list several choices including"save as
Package" this makes a Newton book of the site. and as HTML to
newtworks or notes.

The latter may not be very useful, but with the HTMList extension
installed you can select a page range( use routing button) from an
open book ( the one you saved) and save it to Newtworks.
This will save the page range selected and you can then edit.
