The only time I have a similar problem (between two 2100s - same
screen size & rotation, and just beaming), is when I am sending a lot
of notes with mostly unconverted writing, mixed with a bit of
converted text in the same note plus short notes of converted text
that I have moved around by cut & paste: a couple of notes will have
text that is cut off by (usually) the preceding note.

If it's too obscured (not always), I have been able to select it all
and C&P/move it to make it show up.

Personally (just a guess), I think it's the cut&paste, as that often
does not align properly with the left margin...
