Exactly what error? Is it when you try to connect? or when launching
the Dock with it enabled? I believe there are load-order issues with
NIE, and the fact that all the parts ought to be on internal, not on a
card--something to look at. Also, I don't know if this extension is
compatible with the Ethernet extension. I've never had a problem with
odd errors...

Oh, wait. Sometimes, if you lose the connection, or it doesn't work, I
have found that I need to reset my Newton _and_ force-quit NCX. If I
just quit NCX, it is like it leaves some connection open, but
force-quitting it (even if it can be quit) makes it work again. I
would try that first, because that's the easiest thing to do. ;-)
After that, look at the other things--and I most certainly hope that
somebody who knows whe he's talking about will voice his thoughts!
