Sorry, do you mean a stand-alone clock? Or a Newton
"talking clock" application?

When you say "speaks the time," do you mean the clock
announces the *current* time, or announces that five
minutes have elapsed?

Could you please give us a better idea of the
particular application you hope to use the clock for?
