Hello Sonny and Everybody Else Out There:

Sonny, I believe the device to which you referred was known as the "Eye-Q". The primary company that Apple partnered with on this was called Visible Interactive.? The device was test marketed in several museums, incuding the National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C. and the University Art Museum in Berkley, California. Several other museums around the world participated in the trial run of this device.

I do not have a lot of information, but I do have a few links (with vague references to the device) that may be helpful:

It's likely that you will NEVER get one of the devices for your collection, but you may find an image or two. I have no idea how you would track down the original developers and beg/borrow their application and the associated code. Well, I have some idea, but I'm afraid that you're on your own with this one, at least for now (I'm busy these days trying to find nice apple trees to cut down for firewood. Ya gotta plan early -- like the ant -- for Winter).? I'd suggest finding some contact names in the links and go from there.? Good luck!

Best regards,
