The Newton's file system is different enough from a Desktop PC's that
it's not really feasible to make it mount as a file system. However,
this suggestion is probably the most realistic. For example, if NCX
could talk directly to the card to perform/restore full backups,
that'd be ideal.

If they could make a program to make 5 1/2 Atari 800 disks readable on a
IBM PC 5 1/2 drive, then a program can be made to read/simulate/emulate
a Newton file system.

How far did Einstein get on this? Anyone look at the source code yet?
