If you're willing to spend some money on sending the unit to
Germany and back, I could apply some magic to it to get past
the password issue. If there's owner info available on the
machine, I would get in touch with him on your behalf in case
there's any software on it that needs to be re-registered.
Just to save some bandwidth: No, I wil NOT disclose what
the above-mentioned magic is.
