I wonder if dd would copy a card?? baring that diskcopy under windoze is
supposed to copy anything even if it doesn't recognize the format. so i
wonder if the card in plugged into a reader .... both of these thoughts
have to do with bypassing any operating systems desire to do something
with the data store eg windoze wants to format or eject the card.
