Oh yeh, sure enough! :)

Well being that's the case, you might find this theory page I wrote once
to be at least entertaining. How the earliest inspiration for the
Newton was actually the "STPad" under Atari and then how Atari engineers
left (or were fired) from Atari and went to work for Apple. Check it
