[NTLK] A wonderful conjunction

A while back I acquired one of the InPath barcode readers and had
been using it to record equipment serial numbers with Victor's
excellent driver but it lay fallow for most of 2006.

I recently began to supply a mail order firm with one of my
inventions and the whole operation is based around barcodes but it
took me a day or two to remember that I had the wand!

Running it off one of the eMates is just a dream. I type in the
details of the transaction then scan all the despatch labels into a
note as I box them, import the note into a FileMaker DB I have built
to manage the operation and it's just fantastic; So fast and no errors.

It's such a pleasure to be able to have a Newt being a solid part of
this business and working so well - the eMate runs the complete front
end, capturing all the data necessary to complete the documentation.
