A look at the newton error data base will give a clue
<http://tools.unna.org/errors/>
this one suggests DHCP error
<http://tools.unna.org/errors/query.php?code=-60088>
I have success with the Lucent Turbo Bronze and an apple Graphite
base station. WEP off and set to bridge to a Linksys router.
In your case it seems that the card is working and is attempting to
connect.
More specifics about your hardware setup may help someone help you.
also what is your 'internet setup on the Newton?
