Truly a sad and disheartening moment... You will be missed greatly!

Ooooh, before you turn the lights out, what about the super-board you were
working on???

Well, this subject has been beaten to death over the years and I am guilty
too.
To set the record straight once and for all, I have never claimed (as far as
I can remember) to have created the circuit that you all know as the
SER-001. It is a reference design that is readily available from Linear Tech
- the guys who make the LTC1323.

My claim is that I designed the board layout. This did not exist before. I
created it from scratch.

I am quite able to design circuits but I don't need to reinvent the wheel.

Ferdi originally bought one of my early boards then tried to return it after
what I considered to be an excessive amount of time. He then made his own
copy(ies) when I wouldn't play ball.

I have had the opportunity to examine his board first hand and I am in no
doubt as to the fact that it is a clone of my original layout.

But all of this is now moot as I have decided to leave this arena.

I will be gathering all my Newton stuff and selling/giving away/trashing it
all.
Why? you may ask. Well, I just have so many things that I want to do that I
don't have time to do ANY of them!
I want to devote more time to my other hobbies like robotics, video editing,
photography, LEGO (Yes, LEGO!), electronic music (did you know I made an
album?) + 1,001 other things.

In the meantime, I will put a list togther for you all.

I still have an email box pcbman@ix.netcom.com

You can reach me there if you have a pressing need for information.

Thank you all for supporting me by word or deed throughout the years.

Good night and good luck!
