Download PackType and drag the Packages over the PackType icon to
properly associate the packages to NCU/NCK:

Mac OS "Classic" was a pain with it's mandatory fork-file system, I
adored it for years but boy oh boy do I love how changing the
dot-extension to re-associate a file in OS X :)
