[NTLK] bluetooth question

well I've installed bluetooth and it works one way? can't figure out
what I did wrong. both my powerbook G4 (os 10.4.8) and my samsung phone
(SGH-629, nice phone, to bad it doesn't sync) can see the newton. but
the newton can not see anything. I tried the scroll up/down but that's
not it. and yes everything is listed as discoverable ;-)

the generic and the SF2000E driver identify setup as successful. the
card is the Ambicom ST2000-CF with the blue antenna. the led flashes as
if it's doing something (3 flashes, pause, repeat) when it is discovering.

this is on a test newton 2100 which pretty much is blank except for
newten and newtsync.

ideas?
