I don't think so... Usually they (MS) needs to make things generic
enough to support multiple OEM's. This makes it SOMEWHAT easier for
the linux people to reverse engineer things. This isn't always the
case though... Some components like wireless cards have had closed
only drivers and aren't easy for Linux.

Still no point in speculating too much yet...
