Actually it depends. If you are connecting the keyboard via the SER-001
board and not the Newton Interconnect Port, then yes definitly. If you
are hooking up via the dongle then it will power the Newton on if it is
off. If the Newt is already on and you connect via the dongle or
SER-001 board, it won't see the keyboard.
