How well any PDA will work with OSX really depends on what you want it
to do. The Palm PDA's have better "out-of-the-box" connectivity to
OSX. The Pocketmac software makes communication possible for Pocket
PC's, although installing new programs from a Mac is still a
challenge. Obviously, the Pocket PC wasn't designed with Mac
connectivity in mind. I Think the Sony products, while running the
Palm OS, still require a 3rd party application to sync with the Mac.
I haven't found a single PDA that I can stick with faithfully. I have
a Newton, a Palm M515, a HP Ipax 1910 Pocket PC, and a Blackberry.
They each get turns being the PDA of the day. Plus, I still keep a
paper calendar handy.
