I've been told that they do, but I don't have any data to back up the claim. Something about improved encapsulation of the phosphors....

Put me down for one as well. I can vouch for the white backlight's effectiveness, but there's something about green...

Would also like to know, does a replacement green backlight have a longer 'half-life' than the original?
