Not to beat a dead horse....

But you appear to have inferred that Ferdi is selling a Genuine Apple
Service part. He's not. Never assume anything when reading what he writes.
He's very careful to state things in a way that makes it appear to be
something it isn't. On the other hand I can't say I've ever caught him lying
about anything.

As near as I can tell, it's a replacement he's made or purchased from
someone. Even the picture that's featured on his Ebay ad is of an obviously
non-Apple backlight. (Apple backlights have rounded corners, and aluminum
film contacts that attach to the red and black wires.)
