Compressed twice should not cause this sort of behavior
Of course it depends on what version of Stuffit was used to compress it
and what version you are using
I'm using version 8 (or so) and it unpacks fine
If you grabbed the ClarisOrganizer2.0.sit file it should uncompress
directly.
You should get a folder arranged like
Claris Organizer 2.0
Claris Organizer 2.0v1
Claris Organizer 2.0 Disk 1
Install Claris Organizer 2.0
Claris Organizer 2.0 Disk 2
Claris Organizer 2.0 Part 2
Claris Organizer 2.0 Disk 3
Claris Organizer 2.0 Part 3
claris orgn. password
press enter

If you double click on "Install Claris Organizer 2.0" the installation
should start
