[NTLK] Good price for an eMate?

I bought my 2100 3 or so years ago for about $300 USD.
I am looking on ebay and I see that "buy now" prices for eMates are around
$50. Am I dreaming or is this normal? Even though $50 might not be "that
much money" I still think that I don't want to buy a lemon.

What do you fellow newton users think?

[ the reason I want an eMate is to conduct some instructional tech
experiments. My school might be going the way of the tabletPC, but since I
don't have $1800 to spare, I think an eMate will be more than enough for my
test ;) - not saying that WindowsXP tablet edition is better than NOS -
don't misunderstand me :-) ]
